We stayed here for two nights in the garden room annex with our little dog. It was perfect, very clean and modern with a fenced in garden. There was everything we needed, even a little fridge. There was off street parking which is a bonus in beautiful Alnmouth. The owners Janice and Paul were lovely and so kind. The staff were lovely and friendly too. Breakfast was perfect, especially the Craster kippers. We will definitely return, it’s such a beautiful place to visit, lots to see and Westlea is a perfect base.
Friendly people, great service, nice choice for breakfast. Not fancy, but clean, welcoming and would stay again. Only issue I had was with controlling the shower temperature.
Stayed at the Westlea early September, room was spotless. lovely continental breakfast great choice.Paul and the lovely Eleanor go out of their way to help,we stayed for 10 days.Such a warm friendly atmosphere..We love you can go to so many places within a short distance.Public transport available,we haven't done Edinburgh on the train yet but definitely going back next year.
Had a lovely stay here, great value, comfy room and bed, super staff.
The hosts could not be more accommodating and friendly. We were on a bike trip and our bikes were safely stashed in the locked garage overnight. The place was spotless and the room lovely and an added bonus was the residents lounge with a fabulous view.
Very welcoming on our arrival. Spotlessly clean. High standard of accommodation throughout. Very helpful owner and family. Excellent breakfast choice. Beautiful position as a base to explore the area, either on foot, fantastic coastal walks or by car. At the Sun Inn you get 10% discount of your bill if you you stay here. Would not hesitate to recommend or stay again. Thank you for a lovely 2 nights break.
Beautiful guest house in an amazing location overlooking the estuary. Paul and Eleanor looked after us brilliantly. Our room was huge clean and well equipped. Our continental breakfast was very good with a lot of choice. Dog friendly with free parking. Can’t wait to go back
Such a lovely welcoming guest house so clean,Paul and Eleanor go out of there way to help.Parking is a plus too .We had 10 days still not enough to look round Northumberland.Such friendly people and so relaxing in Alnmouth will definitely go back.
